Upgrading of an existing ground floor shopping mall space in KL, Malaysia

design philosophy
The idea is to develop a rhythm out of static geometrical systems into a continuum of fluent and dynamic space – where opposition between light and dark, natural and landscape are synthesised, the lines of energy converge throughout the space constantly redefines the quality of each wings of the mall.

The new addition also concerns the interplay of visual communications as well as multiple frontage which invites the passerbys to walk through and drop by without force, the structure itself is an interactive gestures on the ground floor mall.

design statement
A bold yet strategically functional interruption. The idea is to break the ground floor mall space’s monotonous panorama and turn it into newly dramatic staging of retail experience.

It concerns the juxtaposition of tradition and innovation, of the old and the new.
